Pancake

When the clan members are introduced to newcomers, it usually goes like, "This is Lucien, our alchemist, this is Raistlin, a powerful mage, and this is Pancake, he ... er ... Everyone here knows him."
Pancake proudly calls himself an observer. He tried to keep countless diaries of his observations of the weather, ebb and flow, local flora and fauna. Something sensible could come out of this, if Pancake did not drop his notes in three days, being carried away by a new idea.
Pancake has seven children, much more organized than their father. All of them scattered around the world, but they regularly write to Pancake. He is not the only one who receives news from children, but he receives the most detailed letters on ten pages. Children tell him who had quarreled with their clan today, what was for dinner, and how much the bugs went up. Pancake carefully keeps the messages and promises to combine them into a monumental study someday. He always promises much. For example, he told each of his familiars that he would devote a poem to him, but no one has seen these poems.
