And when Koray learned that Neiko had been blessed with progenitors that were nesting, she sent unto Neiko three, nay, even four, dragons. For it is well-known that a lair, recently blessed, may bother their breeders if distraction is not given.

And amongst those four was etan, daughter of Derfel and daughter of Sharpeye. And etan appeared before the progrens, as is the custom, to seek approval. And it was given. For young etan vowed to defend nest, hatchling and lair when she was able.

And thus was given to etan her name and thus she did join the clan of Neiko. And Roo gifted her goggles. And she was the first of the Black Family to rule the air over the lair.

A snapper by the name of Chance came to the lair and caught her eye. And they nested and they were blessed with two eggs.

And after the progenitors, she was the first momma of the clan.
