Sandhya finds her joy in poetry. As a hatchling, she used to write simple short rhymes about almost every dragon in the clan, permamently acquiring the title of "most adorable young lady". She grew surrounded by love, admiration and attention, which her parents simply couldn't offer her. She slowly understood clan's policy to raising hatchlings as one, big family, and made peace with the lack of stronger presence of her parents in her life.

She didn't lack parental figures as it were - Zamira was like a Grandmother made of sunshine, teaching her about arts, and there was Agharad - always ready to spoil her rotten. There were a few times when her mother tried to catch up, asking stiff questions and not looking her in the eye. Sandhya learned to talk to her with a warm smile and ice in her gaze. Her father was so focused on his studies he could spare her only a gentle pat to the head, probably not even recognizing which child she was.

So Sandhya seeked her spotlight elsewhere, as she felt a need for one.
