Daughter of a Lightning-born Star Seer, and hailing from the friendly ice clan Whiskerwing, Nebula's heritage has produced an odd combination: whereas other Seers look into the future, the spiral can see into the past. Such talents are so rare, that she almost immediately came to Killa's attention, and the Matriarch herself travelled to collect the promising young spiral from her birth clan.
Nebula's Sight is so strong, that she has seen into the beginning of the world, in its star cradled nebula nursery. As a consequence, she often has to wear a blindfold to avoid being overwhelmed by visions. She prefers to avoid other dragons and their ever present history, generally only doing so only on the command of her matriarch. Due to her powers, she has been accorded great status, and is one of the most respected members of the water clan, often inspiring awe in young hatchlings, which are among the few dragons whose company she enjoys, as their short lives hold little for her magic to latch on to.
The combined weight of her Sight and the knowledge it imparts have isolated Nebula, so that she has become shy, unsure of how to approach possible friends, and saying little in what councils she participates in. Instead, she can often be found in her personal lair, nestled in a collection of favourite fossils and artifacts that give her peaceful, beautiful and often eerie visions and insights into past lives.

Nebulae are often star-forming regions: the formations of gas, dust, and other materials "clump" together to form larger masses, which attract further matter, and eventually will become massive enough to form stars. The remaining materials are then believed to form planets, and other planetary system objects.
