Exuberant and energetic, Artemis is quite the "girly-girl" according to her brother Apollo. She is quite positive and carefree in nature and personality, however she is quick to become disheartened like her brother, but instead of sulking, she becomes impassioned and quick to rectify the situation. Left to her own devices, she doesn't get much work done, but when pushed it is clear she has shades of her grandmothers personality. She has a strong sense of justice though it can often become misguided, but nevertheless, she seeks to do the right thing. She highly admires her mother and father, both of whom she seeks to be like.

She admires heroes and studies dramatic entrances to become a hero herself. Unfortunately she is inherently clumsy and her entrances and pursuits to become a hero go differently than she plans. She almost completely loses track of friend and foe on the battlefield if it wasn't for her faeries and faithful Nature Sprite companion watching her back, also known as Pan. Pan loves her dragon immensely and will often give her advice and early warnings in battle, occasionally distracting her foes with quick movements and helping add power to Artemis's nature spells.

She is head over heels in love with her mate Mikado, a fellow nature dragon from a strong ally clan. She always hoes her kind, and sweet side to him, but also goes to him when she needs to vent or complain. In fact, Mikado is the only one who ever hears her complaints, and he patiently listens to his beloved until she feels better, though usually he needs to vent as well. Often times he is as exuberant as she is and will help her accomplish whatever she needs help with.
