Jeje is one of only a handful of dragons to lie to Dreamweaver and be spared their wrath. During his permanent residency interview, when asked to elaborate on who he was and where he came from, he spun a tale of a saccharine youth spent on a tree farm in the Cloudscrape Crags. He had a boisterous father, a strict mother, and two elder brothers. They all loved one another dearly, and he left his home on good terms with them, seeking a place in the world that was uniquely his own.

None of it was true, not a single word—but Dreamweaver sensed no malicious intent in the lie, and so they saw no need to call it out. It was obvious to them that Jeje had suffered more than his fair share. When he was ready to talk, he would. Until then, he could find safety and acceptance among their people.

To this day, Jeje has told no one his truth. Many of the clan's less courteous members have inquired after it, but he has always spun the same tale he spun to Dreamweaver. He knows it's a lie. He knows they know it's a lie.

But whatever happened to him is too great a burden for him to share.
