Hidden Blade
In the early years of her training as an assassin, Hysmi came to be known as the Hidden Blade of the Carrion Canyon, as no contender could anticipate when she would strike from the shadows. Once she was old enough, she set out to explore the world and take on a few contracts, until her heart settled at the Starwood Strand.

Master Assasin
The Penumbra Clan was quick to recognize her abilities, and General Altair assigned her to a number of dangerous assassination and subterfuge missions shortly after her arrival. By the end of her first year with the clan, she was recognized by all as Master Assasin of the clan.

Slash and Hysminai's first mission together involved the abduction of a single Imperial Plague Egg. It was during this mission that they first realized they made quite a complimentary team.

Now, they are parents of the Makhai Shadows, a specialized group of elite assassins trained by Captain Cirrus and Hysminai herself. Slash and Hysminai continue to work on missions together, oftentimes focusing on exploration and recovery missions in the Golem Workshop.

Queen of Shadows

____A cunning assassin, Hysminai leads the shadow troops of the clan into battle. While her mate controls the battlefront with his knights, Hysmi and the shadows will scout ahead to eliminate any particular threat, and if necessary capture enemy leaders (after all, most armies lose the will to fight when their leaders are taken out with subtlety).

____Within the ranks of her shadows, there are many specialists who often work as mercenaries or assassins for hire. While the Queen of Shadows herself has no intention of ever leaving the clan, she has no problem with letting her children explore the battlefields of the world.

____Slash and Hsyminai are the proud parents of the Makhai Shadows, a surprisingly nimble group of hatchlings who are trained in the ways of the assassin or the warrior from birth. After surviving countless battles, Slash and Hysminai's coats have taken on a permanently blood-stained appearance that is passed on to the next generations and has been recognized as an emblem of the family.

Each member of the Makhai shadows receives specialized training from an early age, and most have the keen sense to develop their own unique techniques. This makes each of them valued mercenaries and assassins for hire wherever they may choose to go after completing their training with the Penumbra Clan.
