Farin could be described as cold, given her appearance and her professional demeanor at work. In reality that is only a front she gives while working, as she finds that keeping calm and professional often helps keep her patients likewise calm and relaxed.

In her own time she is fairly kind, even motherly, towards the other dragons of the clan. She is fair with her wording and assessment of all situations, and finds that being understanding to the viewpoint of others leads to a better overall ending to the current events.

Farin is one of the longer standing members of the clan, brought in early to handle all manners of illness, injury, and other such medical needs. She was born in the lightning flight, surrounded by the busy dragons going about their work and lives and leaving her behind.

It wasn't that she couldn't keep up with them, she just felt that she wasn't suited for that kind of work.
She had a talent for magic, more specifically, she found while healing her family members at the end of the day that she had a talent for healing magic. Finding dragons to train her in the Lightning Flight proved a challenge, so she looked outside her flight and traveled. She learned the healing arts and how to use herbs and medicines to treat dragons, how to help female dragons pass eggs that are stuck, among various other tasks. She was contracted by Weblyn and Fori when the clan was still fairly recent and they were in need of an onsight healer at all times.

Clan Cross has been her home ever since. While there are times she is frustrated with its members, she finds that she enjoys the scenery and her fellow clanmates very much and can't really imagine living anywhere else anymore.

She just wishes the younger members weren't so... idiotically brave, and thus so prone to injury.
