Marble

Marble is a living statue - a stone cutter and mason. He works with Halloway to keep up with the lairs expansion. He speaks to the stones and rocks and considers them to be his friends. He likes to dress in fancy clothes that appear soft and has movement or glitters. It makes him appear more natural. He takes very good care of his apparel and never wears any of it while working. He doesn't want it damaged. Can not breed.

He helps Halloway write books on masonry. He really doesn't care about passing on the information to others because it will never be lost knowledge. He can't die and therefore the information will always be around. Halloway doesn't agree, he figures the books are for the armchair architects. Marble is fine with that if it makes Halloway happy.

Marble is cursed. He was a living dragon at one time, but that isn't something that he can remember. He knows that he came to this lair from somewhere else, Halloway says Dragonhome. All he knows is there was more rocks and earth that he could call friends. Here the earth is different and surrounded by the erosive force of water. It is a bit unsettling for someone made entirely of stone. Halloway would rather Marble was here, under his protection. He knows what really happened in Crystal Klexos the lair Marble had called home. Marble was cursed by **** at the request of Wisteria. Their intention was to chip him away little by little, and create cursed stones from his pieces. Rowan, caught wind of their plan and cast a re-animation spell on Marble, he took on life, but the curse caused him to remain stone. Rowan, with the help of Aile (who will do anything to spite Wisteria) transported Marble to his new home at the library. He suspects that Marble's location is known by those who mean him harm. But the difficulty of getting to the Aqueous Antheum is a deterrent to those dragons.
