"The Serpentine Duelist"
Third Division - Second in Command | Former Mercenary
Snake charmers. What is your first impression of them, I wonder? A mysterious, suave force of nature? The eccentric conman with bright eyes and a brighter mind? The rather suspicious shadow visible by moonlight, gone in the day?
Arcana is none of these.
She is, first and foremost, a fighter. A temperamental warrior. As a Wildclaw, that is not at all surprising. She has challenged everyone in the Alliance at least once, losing and winning, but never hesitating to throw herself into the midst of battle. She is blunt and brash, purposely rude and not bothering to fake kindness nor empathy.
And yet, after a long battle and surrounded by her friends and the warriors she recognizes, her flute echoes crisp and clear in the night, soft notes played by careful claws. Her serpentine companions dance in firelight, reptilian bodies warmed and eyes alight.
Arcana has her flaws. But it's hard to remember that when the harsh yellow of her irises soften in a manner all too telling of exhaustion and pain, of a life lived by treading upon the lives of others.
