B I O G R A P H Y


______ One of the first three dragons to join the Clan of the Catalyst dragons, Oak came to us as hatchling, a generous gift from a neighboring clan. She grew up alongside two other hatchlings, also sent as gifts, and became the honorary daughters of Nyx and Frost. Oak has always loved to fight. Even coming out of her shell, she was biting and clawing at the other eggs, almost crushing them with her weight. Ever since, she's been hyper-protective over her clutch-mates, doing whatever it takes to keep them from harm.

______ One day, barely a moon since the hatchlings had come to our clan, when Nyx and Frost were out scavenging, a roving band of Raptorik stumbled upon the den, and upon the three terrified hatchlings inside. Oak, being the largest (and the bravest) of the three, spread her wings and roared, launching herself at the Raptorik and snapping the ringleader's neck and biting at the tail feathers of the others as they fled. However before they were out of harm's way, the last warrior swung his blade and lodged it into Oak's shoulder, breaking her wing and rendering her flightless. She has since learned to cope without flight, and took on the role of Warrior, so she could always protect her family.
