Callisto
The Assassin she/her Protégé of Ganymede Personality: Soft-spoken, efficient, intelligent "Let her join us. She'd live a good, worthy life with us back in the Tangled Woods, I'm sure. She has potential." Those were the words that changed her entire life. Callisto was born of the wide dusty plains of Dragonhome to a thief and a runaway prince. She had left her parents at a young age, being brought away by the Mafia's main recruiter and consigliere, Abhainn. The cunning Imperial had convinced her parents to give up their child and allow her to join one of Shadow Flight's most powerful associations, the Mafia. Allowing the tiny hatchling to curl up inside her flight satchel, Abhainn prepared for the long flight back to the Wispwillow Grove, where the Mafia was located. As the young Pearlcatcher was brought before the leader of the Mafia, a grizzled old Imperial by the name of Fenrir, he had placed a large paw on her head after appraising the tiny hatchling, proclaiming her as the newest member of the Mafia and an official Mafia assassin. Immediately, she was sent to training with one of the Mafia's best fighters. The training was hard and tough. More often than not, she'd end up being covered in several bandages and wincing with every movement she tried to make. |

Callisto is particularly skilled with a dagger and throwing knives. She prefers to kill as silently and efficiently as possible. Usually, with a nimble flick of her tail, she'd slit the victim's throat as quickly and soundlessly as she could. Excessive blood was not in the job description, after all. Something fairly odd about Callisto is the fact that she likes to mix in a tiny bit of her victim's blood into her pearl after killing them. It's kind of like a morbid logbook for her, and one that no one really dissuaded her from doing. But it's fine. As long as she delivers the kill required of her, she's free to do anything else she desires. Usually, she spends time in the vast libraries with her stagwing familiar, both having a jolly good time browsing through books about murder. With the dissolution of the mafia, Callisto has chosen to stay with Obsidian, forever fiercely loyal to her master. - The Mafia is an organised group known for its brutality and use of underhanded tactics. Headed by the tough old Imperial Fenrir, and backed by his elite group of executives, they are a force to be reckoned with. Evidence and witnesses that incriminate its highest-ranking members are nowhere to be seen, destroyed with fire or the silencing of a throat. They control millions of treasure and gems on the black markets and defying them is a death sentence. |
