____________________________ Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. |
━━━━━ about ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Aries rarely wakes and when she does, she means blood. Her whole existence is slumber or rage. Otac keeps her locked away from the rest of the Basin. Like clockwork he bathes her, leaves food should she wake, turns her body over when needed. He does not speak to her anymore. Aries has deaf ears and an empty heart.
The decay in Hol's body has finally flooded Aries' mind. Her sense of self has eroded and her body is has become extension of the emperor's. The bogsneak is unaware she's been cut out of her own body. Aries is only her mind, locked in the mind of a forever dying creature. Even if she could begin to find her way back, she must first notice she's lost.. | ___ |

━━━━━ origin ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
There was a time when Aries led boldly. A time where she rarely got a wink of fitful sleep. So long ago now that the Basin's occupants can't tell if it was a dream or a memory.
When the Swamp Spirits bound Hol, they needed a physical body to contain her. Aries was a rotting carcass. With a seed in her throat, they buried her in the mud and prayed. On the sixth night, she rose. Aries was the first occupant of Rottwood Basin. |
_____________________________ Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. And you, my father, there on that sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. | ___ |
