Purnima
Innkeeper of The Sea Bed Polite - Good at math - Likes to people watch About Purnima is a busy body; she can't stay still for anything. Arriving in the Land of Colored Sand, she quickly began helping out around the bustling village, putting her endless energy to good use. Over time, the village grew larger as more dragons came to live there and even more dragons traveled through. Purnima thought that an inn would be most suitable for the territory and approached Daega and Oswin with her idea. With their blessings, she set forth to construct an inn with the help of Ignatius the blacksmith and a carpenter from Clan Fire Fang. Once finished, the inn was named The Sea Bed. Purnima enjoys her work, keeping the inn running at full speed. She does most everything herself, from the bookkeeping to room cleaning, but gets help from other dragons wanting to learn the hospitality business. It was while working that a mysterious and secretive tundra dragon came through looking to spend the night. Purnima thoroughly enjoys watching after her patrons and making up stories in her head for the ones she doesn't know personally but Eric intrigued her far more than most. He kept to himself the entire time, which wasn't unusual, but he had such a way about him; both careful and carefree at the same time. He stayed for two nights. Purnima never forgot about the tundra that captured her imagination. She never realized that she had also captured his heart until he returned just a week later- this time to stay for good. Eric helps her run The Sea Bed part-time now. He still travels a lot, but never for as long as he used to. And he still likes to stay behind the scenes, managing the upkeep of the inn while Purnima interacts with the public. She couldn't imagine it being any other way. Etymology: The name "Purnima" means "full moon" in Sanskrit. Origin: Purchased from Rosemund on July 21st, 2016. |
