My name is Hero, and I was born someone who never should have lived. I am a female Oracle, and every single one of us is destined to go insane by the time of our eighteenth birthdays. Because of this, we are normally killed at birth, a way of keeping the universe safe from our nearly-unstoppable power. This was especially true in my case, because I was to one day become the most powerful Oracle in existence. But they let me live. Because of this, I have always believed that everyone deserves a second chance. Even those that others believe irredeemable. That belief has guided my life in ways that I’m sure even I don’t know the entirety of: and a strange life it has been.

I spent my childhood in a kingdom on the back of a dragon.
