BIOGRAPHY
Curza Frostfell. The name rings throughout the Clan of Veiled Echoes, along with the word witch. This young woman wasn't always as feared as she is now, however. Curza was once just an egg found by another clan of nomadic drakes, the wood in which they brought her so warm from the sun that even her bodily scales reflect its golden light. At once, a small group of Sages and Druids fell in love with the whelp and adopted her into their ranks, teaching her the natural ways and the ways of the Gladekeeper, despite the wariness of some by her eyes of frost. Eventually, though, her genetics would fail her and her upbringing and lessons would no longer matter.

Curza was soon exiled, though proof of the crime she was accused of, murder, has never been proven. The Sages and Druids of the clan of nature nomads were convinced that she had caused the death of one of their elders, his heart frozen over. Curza has never admitted, but a glint in her eyes and a cold smirk says the answer for those who ask.

Curza wandered on her own for awhile, manipulating many into aiding her for her needs and using her magical prowess to protect herself. Having always been something of a protégé in the schools of magic, she quickly worked to control and increase her ice magic abilities. It was in a dream that she heard the voice of the Icewarden, and felt truly that she was the child of that deity. From then on, she began to listen more to her dreams, to do the bidding of the Icewarden. Her crusade led her right to the aid of Asraiah, huntsman and leader of the Clan of Veiled Echoes. Asra was almost felled by a particularly angry yeti. Curza, however, stepped in, and the two have been fated to wander together as the best of friends and the sturdiest of allies ever since. It is interesting to note that Curza's relationship with Asra is open, and the two of them will often take other lovers as well as couple with each other. From their first coupling, they produced three offspring, two of which were honored enough to ascend to the Icewarden, and one whom left home to explore, wanting to see the world before meeting a higher calling.

Asra demands that any who remain in the clan contribute in some way. Whether it be aiding him in his hunts or gathering materials for coin or for Curza's brewing, each clansman and clanswoman must put something on the table. Asra is the primary guardian of the clan, despite not having found his charge; Curza's wards around their territory, however, protect them just as well as Asra's deadly arrows. Trade is generally open with this clan, as Asra is something of a neutral force. He will trade with anyone, regardless of flight, so long as he can find a beneficial trade for his clan. Exaltation in the Clan of Veiled Echoes is an honored tradition, and most individuals within the clan that cannot contribute tend to opt instead to ascend, giving them a higher purpose while still providing a small bit of wealth to the clan.

Curza is not necessarily the best person, but she can be sweet as honey when it benefits her. She does, however, grow close to individuals who dare try, not completely shutting love out of her heart.
