B I O G R A P H Y
Hatched to a family of twenty-three and colony of over four hundred other Fae, Kyxilgekvi was just another insignificant component of the Hive Mind. He wasn't particularly ambitious, and had no real dreams or goals. But all plans for living a simple, unfulfilling life was thrown out the window when a freak storm hit and carried him away from the colony. By providence divine (or maybe just dumb luck), he was rescued from the storm by Chelsea, a Guardian. She took him in and offered him shelter in her clan. But with nowhere else to go after the storm had ended, he decided to stay with Chelsea. The two grew very close--and has he got to knew Chelsea, Kyxilgekvi also got to know her clan. If it could be called that--no one respected Chelsea's authority, and there was a lot of conflict between several members. Fights broke out all the time and everything was utter chaos--they were all a bunch of hooligans. Finally, Chelsea could take it no longer. She pointed at Kyxilgekvi, shouted, "HE'S IN CHARGE!" and ran away to dedicate her life to serving the Earthshaker, leaving the poor little Fae alone and in charge of a pack of anarchic nuts. As newly appointed patriarch, Xyxilgekvi immediately tried to establish some sort of order. When all attempts at that failed miserably, he at least tried to avoid conflict. That worked out a bit better--he knew how to work with other dragons and proved to be a skilled negotiator. He could quell most arguments without too much trouble, and as he got more personable with the others, they grew to at least respect him as a friend, if not an authority. Under his leadership, the clan has become a sort of haven for oddballs and outcasts. They're all sort of in the same boat and they look out for one another (mostly). They're just one, great big dysfunctional family. Kyxilgekvi has always been a pretty calm, though determined. He can keep his cool in most situations, and after putting up with his clan's crap, pretty much nothing fazes him anymore. He's long since resigned to the fact that his clan will never see him as a leader, but it's more fun being their friend, anyways. Though he's very forgiving and lets a lot of things slide, he'd never stand for any kind of intolerance. Earthshaker forbid there be a stray dragon in need of a roof over their head--he'll accept anyone into his clan, regardless of background. He believes firmly that everyone deserves a chance.
