A New Beginning As the small Fae pushed her way out of the fallen Fae community of dried amber, she as marveled at how she survived. She was just a tiny little hatchling, yet she was the only one to live. Minya flew as far as her wings could carry her before she collapsed. Pulling herself under some bushes to rest at last. The next morning, the tiny green Fae blinked her golden eyes open to lights filtering through the leaves of the bushes. She crawled from her hiding spot, just to nearly be crushed by a large blue Tundra. He looked to the small Fae, a gentle smile on his face. She learned that the Tundra's name was Xiome, he was a traveler, looking for somewhere to settle at last. A New Life As Minya and Xiome traveled through the Light territory in search of somewhere to call their own, they were blessed with three eggs of their own to take care of. Minya was ever so worried for their new hatchlings that she was always fluttering around with worry. Xiome was always so patient with her, that he surprised himself with it. There was one night where Xiome ventured off on his own, knowing that Minya and the eggs would be just fine for a night. When morning came he happily brought them to their new home. It was a small lair in the Sundial Terrance, but perfect for their new family. |

Shortly after the pair had settled in, the eggs began to hatch. The first three hatchlings born to the clan. Minya was so happy to see that the eldest was a female, and a tiny one at that. Xiome was left to gather food and other necessities for the five of them, as Minya was much too busy taking care of the hatchlings. The three were quite close, but Minya noticed that they all had their eyes set on different paths. Lirael wished to make a place for herself within the Yakima Clan with her parents. Guapo, the middle child, had his eyes set on the darkness of the lands. While Andii wished to serve his deity, the Lightweaver.
Minya decided not to take the light in her children's eyes too seriously until they were able to make their own way in the world. Instead, the proud mother took her babies out for a trip to help Xiome scavenge. What they found was a Snapper hatchling hiding in the brush. Lirael was the one to find him hiding. The little Fae was able to get the white Snapper to come out. When Minya asked him his name, he simply shook his head.
"Well, if you have no name, we'll just call you Dion," she said with a gentle smile to the young Snapper.
Since finding the young Snapper, dragons have been coming to the Clan, or they have purchased them from other Clans from the auction house, knowing that they would be able to provide a nice home for them.
