B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Anger by Sleeping At Last

______ Survival of the fittest and the ends justify the means. Those are the words Pawnbroker was taught to live by and what he thinks what everyone else should live by as well. Really, it was amazing how he even managed to get accepted into the Serpent Seekers - back then the Shaded Saplings - with his ill temperament and lust for battle. Back then, he was strong and full of vitality. Back then, he led the clan through battles untold without any majorly wounded. But karma has a funy way of paying back one's dues.

______ All it took was one mission he wasn't able to go on, when his grandson, DreamWeaver, excitedly wanted to show off his own strength, ever the loyal young dragon looking up to Pawnbroker. His mates, Peridot and Arielle, as well as one of his daughters, Aether, went with to keep an eye on the young dragon. All but one never returned back to the lair. Furious and grief stricken, Pawnbroker turned on DreamWeaver and harshly blamed him for the cause of the deaths. The little spiral was heartbroken, now in two ways instead of just one, and silently made sure to avoid his grandpa. Still young, still emotional and arrogant and now going back to his old roots from when he still lived in Plaguebringer's domain, he battled and ripped into the local wildlife, cursing out the Gladekeeper's name. Even worse was when he smelled another dragon, a fellow plague one, in his clans territory. A trespass that wouldn't be taken lightly. Linsa, another dragon, had to step in and shield Kaleidoscope from his assault. He was at risk of being thrown out, so was Nightfall's concluding words in a meeting when another dragon came to them, worried about the issues he was causing.

______ Once Banescales were shown to be hatching from eggs long since resting and waiting, Nightfall recruited Astridr, originally planning to replace Pawnbroker and kick him out for good, despite the incidents happening months prior. He was still a threat in the clan, and she had to do something sooner or later. That day would not come, however, when Astridr beat Pawnbroker in a fight after he challenged her and humbled him. His exile was then put on hold, and then removed all together when no further incidents happened.

______ Thankfully, he has since calmed down somewhat since then, and found a new mate, BlizzardBite, who doesn't hesitate to put him into his place whenever Pawnbroker gets reckless. While the chemistry he had with his old mates isn't there with BlizzardBite, the pair undoubtedly care about one another and work in perfect harmony whenever they are out hunting or fighting side by side. Too stubborn to retire just yet despite him getting older, he still makes sure to put all of his energy in doing his job well, doing it right.
