However, and you should be very grateful for this information - Phantom, here is our leading researcher into what I have 'affectionately' named the dark arts. It started when I taught her simply cloaking spells that even a non-Shadow dragon could perform. I suppose that it is that which sparked that characteristic Arcane 'curiosity'. She began to experiment with the bodies of beastclans and eventually dragons. Fresh, and sometimes bones if our scouts can find enough parts. It's adorable, really. She still keeps her first creation by her side. I will warn you that she has been eying you for parts. Do be careful of that. She is also wondering about testing her new field of controlling and breaking minds. For your sake, I have gently urged her not to. You're welcome.

"If I infuse the rune with some of my magic... YES! It work-is it? YES IT IS! Moon, watch this. Today will be momentous for our clan."
A fuschia burst of energy filled the chamber as Phantom slammed the rune onto the bones, activating it. As they began to rattle, the pink cloud that surrounded them began to retreat to the bones, containing itself. Moon looked on in astonishment as the amalgamation of bones and energy began to rise as one, an otherworldly groan echoing from the air itself as the abomination came to 'life'.
Phantom pressed her clawed paw to the creature's cheekbone with fondness, stroking it. "It's beautiful..." She whispered. The corners of her mouth curved slightly into a cruel smile. "What else can I do with this power? Why has no one thought of this before? It's brilliant!" She giggled slightly, which evolved into manic, uncontrollable laughter.
Phantom laughed until it seemed that she was about to collapse, then she halted, sides heaving, and stared intensely at her new future. Speaking so quietly, Moon was not sure that he heard her as she whispered to her new companion. "I wonder... how many will bow before me before this is all over, my precious gumdrop..."
