Biography

Wylla's dragon- True Name Amaris Race: Kalashtar

Personality: Does not talk much preferring to use images through mind magic to state feelings and facts. Observant of her surroundings and the dragons around her (meaning lots of details and I'll pick through your posts if RP). She has a hard time connecting with others but is very loyal when she makes friends. (May add as I go to define her better).
Roles: She is a healer, being able to heal herself and take her companion's wounds onto herself so they can be healed (she will only do this for dragons she truly trusts as this leaves her vulnerable). Ambusher, using her flowers to flash in the enemy's eyes, blinding them. Expert flyer and able to manipulate the wind to keep herself up as she soars.
Apparel: always carries a bag of medicines and food, though she is perfectly capable of catching her own food (insects). In her bag is also a moonstone (bright blue) that she stores her magic reserves. Typically she will give this to a dragon she feels might be in danger so that they can use it as an SOS (again only someone she truly trusts).

Wynes is the Dame (or Matriarch if you will) of this lair. This is her story.

The first thing she could recall was the feeling of closure in a strange yet familiar space. A slippery substance suspended her, wrapping around her like a cool blanket. There was nothing else but this and herself. Though everything was dark and her movements clumsy, she slowly wiggled forward exploring the environment till she bumped into something, the edge of the world, where she traced the warm, smooth surface round and round. There was no destination, no sense of purpose, simply the prolonged stimulus of what she had discovered.

Ah, there's another barrier. She could feel it briefly via a gentle brush when she extended out into the void. However, the slippery substance that once aided her on her explorations was now a hindrance as it began to cling in long strands to the barriers, wrapping around her. The more she struggled to escape the web, the more she cocooned herself in until she once again was held, rather than suspended, by the substance between the barriers. Soon it became too tiresome to continue trying to escape; she simply waited as the barriers merged into a singular omnipresent being that slowly, purposefully, drew closer to her entangled self.

The being pressed on her from all sides, seemingly to crush her in its grasp. She tried to move, tried to make herself smaller, but the pain was excruciating. She needed to break free; she couldn't wait any longer. Instinctively, she flexed. She hit it. She flexed harder and tried desperately to escape this suffocating omnipresent being. She twisted and turned. But there was no escape; there was no exit. For what seemed like an eternity, she fought.

Suddenly, as she flexed again, she felt the being buckle slightly under the force of the kick. Instinctively, she wiggled around to face the weakened spot and attacked it with renewed vigor. The all-powerful being slowly, so slowly, cracked and crumbled as she propelled herself against it. And then it was gone.

Her head shot through the wall as it gave way, pieces falling to the dew-soaked ground. She recoiled instantly as cold air slapped her in the face, sending shivers down her spine. Fear and uncertainty gripped her as she stared into the dark abyss beyond. She couldn't see anything, but she knew there was something there. No, "somethings". Foreign sounds drummed inside her head, a cacophony of shrill whistles, deep rumbles, and rhythmic humming. Unknown scents clogged her nose, making it difficult to breathe. The chill of the night air began to sink its fangs deep in her fluid-soaked body, paralyzing her already exhausted self from being able to do anything but take deep and ragged breaths. But, as happenstance would have it, as she sunk down in the cramped confines of her egg, the clouds parted to reveal the moon in all its glory.

She stared in awe as the moon's soft light revealed what she could not see before: the trees dancing to the breeze, the sparkle of dewdrops on bright white flowers, the puddles giving off a silvery hue, broken only by a small silver twinkle falling into the mirror. The cacophony of sounds, though still unfamiliar and still scary, changed to a chorus of complete harmony, a soothing ambiance of chirping crickets, rustling leaves, dripping water, and so many others. Her egg, once so crippling, gave her a final gift: providing an enclosed space to hold much-needed warmth. Her breathing became regular, her heart rate slowed as she relaxed. This...is...good... She settled back into the broken shell of her egg, gazing in awe and wonder at the cosmos, the millions of twinkling lights. As dawn's rosy fingers crept out to banish the shadows of the night, exhausted from her workout and soothed by the night's chorus, she fell into a deep yet restless slumber.
*************************************************************************************************************************
An uncomfortable sensation spanned the length of herself. As she rose back up from the depths of sleep, a blinding light immersed everything unseen under a wave of rosy light. She blinks rapidly, peering at the new world. It was nothing like it was before. So many shifting things, so many

However, that was not always her dream. She was a very quiet dragon and very independent. However, it was very hard for her to form attachments to others because of her quiet nature, leading most dragons to assume she likes to be alone if they notice her at all. She was a wanderer, an observer, flying from one end of the continent to the other, never settling in one place because she had no connection, no purpose, nothing to fill the void of loneliness buried deep in her heart. There was no one to go with to festivals, no one to talk to, no one to even say hello.

Wynes did have company at one point named Mudrew, but, as what happens with most dragons that were with her, he soon left to study under The Windsinger, leaving her once again alone. But as luck would have it, while she was out of her current residence in the Zephyr Steppes, a group of three hatchlings wandered in seeking shelter from the buffeting winds and dangerous creatures: a male Imperial named Hanami, a female Mirror named Silvermist, and a male Coatl named Sanguine. When Wynes returned to her tiny clearing, she was startled and confused by the presence of the hatchlings.
