The secondborn daughter of Duncan and Mlym, Charm is loved very much by her family.

Charm is half-selkie; her mother is a seal shapeshifter and her mother is your average dragon. Her parents were worried for her at first, considering they didn't quite know how exactly Charm's mixed blood might affect her.

To your average outsider, Charm would look like just your regular dragon; she possesses very few selkie-like traits, and seems to take much more after her father. Considering her upbringing with an extraordinary mother and sister, Charm is always a little disappointed in herself for not being as capable of shapeshifting or swimming. Essentially, the only part of her which is obviously selkie is sealskin that she possesses; but even in the water, she does not transform.

However, if you took her fishing, you would discover that she's excellent at sailing and startlingly good at sensing the location of the largest, tastiest fish. She and her father went on long fishing trips together more than once, and those trips always brought back the biggest hauls.

Charm tries very hard to focus on her positive traits; her fishing skills, her delightful personality, etc; but it's a struggle for her at times, feeling inferior because of her lack of selkie skills. Her parents and sister do try to help, but it's always a fight for her to be as happy-go-lucky as the rest of her family.
