Orielle

Orielle gasped into consciousness on the slopes of the Crystalspine Reaches and knew, despite the millions of other dragons who bore the magic of their creators, that she had been chosen personally by the Arcanist. I mean, just because a couple thousand other dragons were chosen personally by the Arcanist that very day doesn't make it any less special that she was a fae! and alive! and blessed with a calling to serve her dispassionate mage god.

In her first days of life, Orielle searched for word of the great troubles in Sornieth. She heard many variations on the same threat: the curse of the stars, the Arcanist's hubris...the Shade. Orielle resolved to combat the alien foe as best she could, and set about gathering allies to her laughably understaffed cause.

In the course of researching the shade, she stumbled across a tome of the Light Flight which described the migration of Clan Spikenard and some of their skirmishes with the Shade. She resolved to aid them as much as possible, and sent a tithe of most of her hoard at the time. Her gift was rewarded when an imperial daughter of the clan, Iris, came to join them and serve as a great warrior alongside her and Philippicus.

On 27 Aug 2016, the Stardust Scholar and 25 Companions of Fezita came to bring the knowledge and wealth of an elder mage's clan to Clan Palmsmith. Orielle used most of the specie to give herself and her younger consort genes.
