While on her quest to discover her charge Ishanti founded the Lacrima Clan. Her quest came to an end when the first eggs were clutched. She has since guarded the nesting grounds and taken many hatchlings who had broken shell elsewhere under her wing. Leadership had never been something Ishanti desired, she always preferred to explore the wild places of her home and teach dragonettes about the flora and fauna to be found there. Now that her apprentice Ellemairea has come of age she guards her charges and teaches them what she can before they search for new clans to settle in or leave to serve the Lightweaver in her Lair.

She had long been assisted by a small Fae male named Frerin. He always seemed to be at her side often scouting ahead as she led the hatchlings on their nature walks to lead them to interesting and rare finds even she would have missed. He quickly became very dear to her but remained silent on the matter. She was content to merely have him near.

One day the fae had been absent however. There was a commotion at the entrance of the lair and she charged when she saw an unfamiliar silhouette land on their terrace. She halted when she saw the familiar hues and markings of Frerin shimmer in the day light. He told her quietly of his change and his reasons behind it. If you were to ask her for them she would only say that was for him to tell.

She did not know fae could have a Search of their own, but is certainly glad hers did.

Only one of her children have remained in the clan. She loves her daughter dearly but wonders why her Search does not draw her out of the lair.

With Frerin no longer able to scout as he onnce used to, Ishanti has chosen to enlist the aide of a small gathering of Pixies.
