Siegfried

Origins and Romance
As a very scholary person, Siegfried soon after maturing found himself moving around in search of old ruins. He ended up at the Sundail Terrace at a place near the Cliffs facing Nature Terretory. As such, his freind Alfies Clan Arentine is not all to far away. As a Clan of adventurers they sometimes send him stuff they found but can not identify. Siegfried has a selectivly exeptional memory when it comes to old knowledge and cultures, so he can almost always help them out. Sometimes he goes to visit Alfie himself and it was at one such visit that he met Brunhilde. She was looking for a new home and had been invited to Arenite, but did not quite feel ready to settle down there.

"Would you like to see my ruins?", he asked her. She agreed. Once there he showed her the view from the clifftop facing the ocean where you just can see teh Viridian Labyrinth. He showed her the toppled outer walls and pillars of what had once been an ancient temple complex with some very strange rooms indeed. In fact, only part of it was a temple. Most of it was part of an ancient bath house, including several pools filled with hot water, now floded with mudd where he hand't started to clear them.

A hot spring, in this part of the world! How marvelous! Brunhilde was delighted. She was even more delighted when they took a relaxing bath in the one cleared pool.

After that he showed her what remined of the former temple, the Living Qauters in the back, the Great Hall to the front sided by two other impressive halls, one which would make a perfect place of study, the other a temple to the Lightweaver. Next to that would-be-temple there was another smaller room. Through some small holes in the cieling light fell softly into that chamber. The ground fomed several shallow pits. Grass and moss were covering the ground, making a soft bed. The room was big enough to even house Imperials.

"This would make perfect Nesting Grounds", said Brunhilde softly. Siegfried agreed and stepped closer to her.

"Would you like to found a Clan with me, here, and make a future for ourselves?"

"The two of ous? Oh, but, really? Me?"

"You are very pretty and smell of good things"

Well how was she supposed to say no to that? She thaught the same things about him, too.

That is how they founded their very own Clan. That Clan quickly grew when Gleam, a Spiral formrly of Arenite, showed up and started bringing in new members, first a few hatchlings, then three potential mates for herself. She keeps dropping of hatchlings she found one or the other way, but although wary of this development in the beginning Siegfried has since accepted it as the way things are.

Early Days
Siegfried likes Brunhilde. She smells like learning new things, like love and a future. He is glad they went somewhere new to start their live together. He is also glad Gleam showed up and threw that new live in a loop, or more a spiral, now that he thinks about it. But mostly good things came of it. The hatchlings are cute, if a bit unruly. Where did she even get two Imperials, one Pearlcatcher and a Skydancer from?

And then her three potential mates. Well, tow potential mates, more like it. Windspar does not seem all that much interested in mating Gleam. He has been patroulling the Clan Grounds and helping out wherever he was needed. Siegfried was glad to have somebody who smelled as reliable as Windspar watching the Lair while he was out in the Coliseum being shown the ropes by Gleam. Siegfried mostly just meditated while Gleam and Herbert scratched and slashed at the beast, Gleam in pure joy and Herbert trying to impress her so very much.

Coming back home and finding Windspar and a pretty Skydancer female he had never smelled before nesting had been a surprise.

"Stella, nice to see you! What a surprise! Are you living here as well now? You never told me you were thinking of moving!", cheered Gleam. So those two knew each other?

"Hello Gleam, and no, I just came to visit. Alfie sent me to see how you were doing. But you were out and Windspar showed me around. When we came to the nesting grounds, well, ...they are very nice and it's not like I like Windspar or anything, but, well, the light was very nice...", said Stella, the apparently quite emberassed Skydancer. Windspar nuzzled her cheek. She tried to ignore him, but her fins gave her agitation away.

"So you just mated? I bet your hatchlings will be adorable! Good thinking, Stella!"

"But just think how long it will take untill they are hatched and then untill they are old enough to be on their own! I couldn't possibly leave raising them only to Windspar but I am expected back!"

"Don't worry, I'll send word. And you know how Alfie is, he will understand"

"Well, yes..", said Stella and looked to Siegfried.

"Nothing to it, Stella. You are welcome to stay and raise your hatchlings. When you want to go home is up to you.", he said. To think they only moved in yesterday, what kind of marvelous things had happened since then!
