Just like his mate Absinthe, Isotope comes from a royal bloodline, born to fulfill the very same fate as his predecessors. He was still a youngling, when fate decided his home would be somewhere unfortunate. It was here he met Absinthe, although not in a pleasant way- They were appointed as mates, to make hatchlings that would be exact duplicates of them.

The bright colouring of dragons like him and Absinthe was seen as some kind of fashion icon. Isotope never really understood why, since he thought he was just as ordinary as anyone else. Unfortunately, due to the excessive demand of dragons like him, Isotope grew older and older, becoming ashamed of his appearance.

He wanted to hide it away, and he finally could after he'd escaped from his previous clan, with his mate. Once the two had settled in their newfound home at Tridish Nouilles, Isotope got to meet a witchcrafter. He begged him to create a cloak of invisibility, and after lots of pleas, the witchcrafter finally agreed.

Ever since Isotope has received his cloak, he feels way better about himself. The cloak only goes off near family or when he's alone. He'd rather not stare into a mirror, seeing his true colours only gives him nightmares.
