Orrin

Orrin, son of the great King Asriel, was orphaned after a successful attempt by an eggsnatcher to obtain one of the offspring of royal heritage. As the snatcher winged his way towards his camp, gloating over his victory and plotting whatever clandestine plans he had for the egg, Cresselia, wise hermit and founder of Clan Wolvenrose, happened to spot the thief from above. Initially, as she wung her way over the dense treetops of her homestead, stretching cramped wings, Cresselia thought that the dragon resting in the small clearing below her was a dragon brooding over their nest of a solitary hatchling. But Cresselia was known for perceiving eyes and intuition, and it took her little more than a second glance to see that this dragon, a mirror sly and secretive in movements, was watching over a beautiful, glittering, unmistakably Nocturne egg, and was of darker intents.
