It wasn't a long trek to Loli's camp in the branches bordering the lair, yet the hardest part was the walk. Finding it amid the mountain of camouflaging was actually a breeze. Loli had piled about the structure a heaping mass of sticks, and greenery. It was an excess of weeds and wood that in truth, made the hobble stand out much more in the sparse area that surrounded it.
Sachi, being the observant creature she is, took note that creation more often than not reflects the creator. Keeping that in mind, she called the name of the dragon she used to know, "Loli".
She didn't respond at first. Though with Sachi's patience, she crawled through her makeshift doorspace to the exterior of her den.
"How did you find me?" were her first words.
Sachi could have answered the question, but instead gave pause, and asked her own.
"What are you doing here?"
Loli got a stern look on her face and shortly cut to the response.
"Fortifying. Fortifying and perimeter checking."
"Hmm, that's strange, because you look like you've just awoken from a nap old friend."
Loli sighed, "... It's easier to be unconscious right now.'
There was a long quiet moment in which both dragons exercised unavoidable patience.
Sachi didn't mean to be manipulative but her behavior was very much calculated in this interaction. It was easy for the bookkeep to wait, and listen. It was simply her nature.
Loli then proceeded to tell of her aimlessness, her frustration, and even; with Sachi's patience, her loneliness. In short, Loli had obviously lost her purpose. It was then that Sachi took it upon herself to find her old friend a new quest; but first she had to get the retired soldier back where she belongs.
"Won't you come home Loli? After a conversation and perhaps apology, they would all welcome you home, I'm sure of it. And Kazu is there for you even if they don't."
"You don't understand. I cannot show my face there now. They would only reject my presence in the lair. Thus all I can do is protect it from here."
"Is that what you think you're doing?" Sachi remarked, slightly irritated at the foolish behaviors of the clan founder she had missed for three years.
"Protecting the lair, out here?"
"I do border patrols thrice daily for the sake of my home." Loli was becoming heated.
"What does being alerted of an enemy approaching do if only a fair few of our clan can actually figh...
Oh.
I must go."
And just like that Sachi flew off the branch with haste. Loli, though confused, did not follow. She had a her midday patrol to complete. (See Spirit's bio to continue)

"Excuse me?"
"For years we have relied on your strength and a few others. Imagine, a lair full of fighters, who could defend themselves, the young, and their home."
