Aurora is said to glide along the morning sky carrying bits of the sun on her wings each day. Some say that the smaller bits of sunshine have gotten so hot that they have melded to her wings and body, now cool and hard gemstones to the touch. These small hard rocks create a beautiful shimmering display wherever she flies. Legend has it that if she bestows one of her gems to you, it will bring you good health, fortune and safety for generations to come.
