The Supporter, The Matriarch's Consort
Apollo is a gentle soul. He is patient, and his stamina knows no bounds. His voice is never heard above the others. In fact, he is one of the quietest of the tribe. He shares this trait with the Matriarch, Diantha. It's no secret this dragon harbors feelings for her, though most keep it on the down-low, because of her mating with her companion, Daergos, and the solitary egg they are currently incubating. Apollo is Diantha and Zeltan's combat partner, traveling with them into the most treacherous lands to gather supplies, treasure and food. He is known for his supportive behavior, and is a formidable opponent, despite his calm and docile nature. It is difficult to offend this dragon, as he merely shrugs off accusations and slander. His pride and joy is his daughter, Saphyira, and it was a joyful and tear filled reunion when Grovemaker allowed his leave to join Diantha's clan to be with her. He gets along with many, and is seen as the most amicable of all the dragons in the clan. Unfortunately, not many of the others feel or behave the same way, and he is usually left to his lonesome. He makes up for the lack of company by tending to the hatchlings, and is seen as a foster father to some.
