Despite her change in form, Anthus retains the fighting spirit borne of her mother's bloodline. The gems bound to her feet are sharpened to a razor edge to make up for the loss of her claws to this new hulking form. Anthus has been slightly slowed by the added weight. However, her savagery has yet to diminish. Needless to say, Sazerac gives her a wide berth when he hears word of her return to the lair. Much like Spinel, Anthus is fickle and ruthless. Unlike Spinel, her temper is quick, red hot, and violent. Fortunately for the clan, Anthus is loyal to her bones, sworn to Spinel's service of her own volition. As many times as she's spilled blood for her Raven Queen, she's held her wrath on request at least as many. She picks fights and bickers incessantly with Venge, but follows her order as quick as Spinel's. It is generally understood that Anthus looks up to Venge as a sister. For a brief time, when it had long passed the point of her being too long in one place, Anthus paid visit to Jetty's clan. While there she trained beside Ayumu in battle before trekking onward to the Shifting Expanse for a spell. There, Anthus ventured far into the Lightning Farm to its far border abutting the Emberglow Hearth. Once more she set foot back in the realm of her birth, renewed by the raw heat of the earth and flame. Having satisfied both her wanderlust and the call of the hearth, she returned to Spinel's clan in high spirits and looking not unlike the desert nomad she'd been on her wander. |
