If you are looking for the impossible, chances are you'll find it with Lathyrus. His limitless energy seems to only be a match for his endless curiosity, and the combination results in all sorts of mishaps. However, due to his fondness for roaming, he often finds fascinating and unique objects, and these are brought back to the clan for further examination. And, even if he doesn't have the item you're looking for, he can usually direct to you a dragon who does. Do you need a potion that will remedy your cold? Lathyrus knows just the alchemist. Trying to look up edible plants and their medical properties? Lathyrus has a book for that. Wondering if the beastclans are on the north or south slopes this time of day? Lathyrus can point you in the direction of the border guards. However, even after bringing home ancient spell scrolls, peculiar talismans, rare seeds and plants, statues, books, alchemical potions, and once even an entire pack of friendly Pardas, the strangest thing he ever found was a peculiar, armored egg.
