Hisoki

The news spread like wildfire through the clan. Tyrant and Sidcatha were sitting a clutch! It hadn't happened in longer than almost any dragon here could remember;the two were notoriously busy keeping the clan going.

The reason soon became clear when the eggs hatched. The three dragons never left their family's side - one was always with one dragon - learning everything they could about the Machineclan. And then, the day came - Tyrant came for one of them, took a fighting wing with her, and sailed off into the horizon.

Few knew why. Everyone was apprehensive. Tyrant never left!

She returned a week later, without her offspring and leading a strange Imperial after her. Hisoki came from a faroff Nature clan, and had been arranged as a trade for a political alliance. He would live here, and join their clan. Her hatchling would join his old clan. This would tie the two clans together.

Similar things happened before, but never from someone as important.

Hisoki, for his part, is incredibly well mannered and mild. His gentle disposition and kind attitude have done much to ingratiate the machine dragons towards him. He's been touring around every area of the caverns, apprenticing under one dragon for a month here, another there. Eventually, he'll find his niche - either an occupation already pointed out, or something that occurs to him.

All dragons work. That's the nature of this place. It helped to see that the children of the clan leaders were always doing something. Idle hands have no place here. Tyrant and Sidcatha both treat him as if he was their own, for better or worse- he's held to incredibly high standards, and Ravage seems to resent him, but Dungeon and Blindside have both readily accepted their newest family member. Blindside in particular is eager to indoctrinate him into his own trade of engineering.
