One of the Luna Twins, shadowsmith and guide of the Eclipse Branch. "E" Branch Nightdancers specialize in night operations, nocturnal hunting, stealth, underground work and covert activities. They are exempt from standard Watch hierarchy and work in small 2- or 3- dragon teams to accomplish their objectives.
E Branch
Eclipse Branch is home to the special forces and intelligence operatives of the Tree, and have their own hierarchy apart from the watch. Dragons at the branch are highly trained and distribution into small, specialized and highly independent teams. Each team works under a statute of secrecy, being given their mandate to act in their capacities by the Guide Council, which has ethical and discretionary oversight of both the means and ends of operations.
The perception of E branch operatives in the eyes of the Watch and the rest of the tree is one of neutrality, careful respect, and, at the end of the day, cooperation and camaraderie. Operatives do not view themselves as superior, merely servants of the Tree with different skillsets and objectives. Some teams work together with the watch more than others, while some teams don't seem to even exist apart from unconfirmed rumour. More than a few unexpected turn of events credited with saving a member of the watch, hunting party or ally, or bringing strategic benefits to the tree, have been credited to the efforts of E Branch teams.
