A broken smile, a scarred face, Aberforth hides a past behind his charisma. Not much is known about this dragon, aside from how charming and good at his work all that is known of Aberforth is that he is an ex warrior turned farmer. His past is a mystery to many, aside from his own mate, Seth and the clans leaders. And none of them will tell anyone about it, claiming that they were told not to. When one speaks with Aberforth, he oozes charm and charisma. Always up for a chat, when not talking with his fellow workers, he can be found whistling a tune to himself or humming. It seems when Aberforth is around, there is never any silence in the area. Be it tapping, swishing his tail along the ground or the sound of feathers in his wings as he adjusts his wings. Some would call it peculiar, but those who call it out are quick to be shut down by Seth or his mate Lia, in an uncharacteristically callous manor for his gentle mate. Aberforth also is never seen without his cat Carlos, a very vocal cat that is almost always underfoot of Abe. More then once he has nearly tripped over the mischievous feline, but whenever Aberforth is 'off' the cat is quick to perch between his wings and activate it's loud purr. That's another thing about Aberforth, out of all the farmers he is the most likely to miss work. Something you think would agitate Seth, but he shrugs it off. More often then not one can find Seth doing Aberforths work. Or if not Seth, then Lia herself picking up her mates slack. If one really spends time with Aberforth, it is easy to see he suffers from some sort of traumatic stress disorder, and is terrified of dead silence as a result. As such, the den he and his mate share is full of clinking metal and stones on strings, and a small music box that constantly is wound and played when Aberforth is present. Even his mate wears a clinking jade belt to comfort him when they are together. Aberforth is deeply appreciative of how accommodating the clan has been to him, words cannot express his gratitude, so he shows it with his actions. When Abe works, he works hard. When a dragon needs assistance, Abe is quick to help out. He constantly showers Lia in love and affections when the two are together, and works hard to be a good father for their hatchlings. He is determined to work past what he calls his 'shortcomings' and prove how much he is worth to the clan and his family. Though if you asked anyone close to Abe, you will find they think he already has done that and more. |
