Countess Lebony
The Dark Humored

"She has a talent for turning any subject dark."

Lebony is the daughter of Count Carlyle and Countess Sarah Ardencia, and niece of Alistaire and Sterling Ardencia. While she is the second daughter, she has inherited a holding of her own, which her aunt, Lady Sterling would have owned if not for her marriage to Alistaire and the forfeiture of her title. She is aware of this and as a result holds her aunt in a special place in her heart. She respects her decision to follow her heart even if it meant giving up everything she was to have. She wonders if she would be able to make that same decision.

She is not sure she could, but refuses to marry for the sake of title or anything other than love. She doesn't trouble herself overly with flirting, her beauty draws more than enough attention on its own. In fact, it draws so much attention that she had developed a very dark sense of humor to scare away the less dedicated. As a result of this sense of humor, she is often the only one to comment on matters that are actually important. As opposed to whether such and such has a new lover.

Some tell her she ought to enter into politics, but frankly she doesn't want anything to do with that empty practice. She would much rather continue her occasional studies, spend time with good friends, and make sure the members of her family are all in good health. She also treats her servants well, and takes issue with those who treat theirs poorly. These are some of the only times she will take part in the culture of spreading rumors about people, when she wishes to pressure someone into treating their servants better.

She does sometimes toy with idea of entering into the business realm and making better use of the holdings that she owns.
