Chirp does no service for the Plaguebringer, and doubts the benevolence of the Plague Flight; despite this, she believes the element of plague is radically too feared, as the proliferating life-in-entropy that it promotes has much to teach about the nature of life.
A great advocate of peace between the flights, it is her great grief that the majority of her many descendants turned to the ever-churning contest for dominance between the flights. She is glad that her daughter Whiteheart has never left the clan, that her daughter Zyleeth is safe with an allied clan, and that her granddaughter Yewande (born of lightning) returned safely to the Clan of Many Things. A few of her other descendants are with clans, but she has lost contact with all save these three.
