The Bodyguard

To see Aesher move through a crowded soiree, one would think her as no more than another courtier. Graceful, poised and congenial, she fits into any company like a rose to a garden. Indeed the sight of her immaculate armor often strikes many as nothing more than oversized jewelry.

Wise dragons however, would know that grace and poise serve just as well on a battlefield as a dance floor. Unwise dragons often learn it to their dismay, when they attempt to harm, bully, or otherwise inconvenience the dragon Aesher has been tasked to escort. She doesn't dither around balls for entertainment, but rather to protect the clan's valued diplomats and merchants as they go about their vital business. To this end, Aesher has learned to be a rose, and when needed, it's thorns.
