Nettles is the second clan messenger and Metals' mate. He is almost exactly like Metals, from her love of speed to her zany personality. This makes them a perfect pair. Without two Clan Messengers to take care of news, things would become confusing and too much work for just one dragon. Nettles is a little more shy and nervous than his partner however, and if he can help it, he prefers to get dragons to give him handwritten notes to deliver as he's not too fond of speaking.
