Calladora

Calladora's mother was always involved in some court intrigue, so she didn't spend as much time as she could have with her hatchlings. However, there are plenty of characteristics and skills Calladora learned from her mom. She first learned how to impress others, mimicking the flashy charisma of her mother until it became her own. The young guardian enjoyed drawing attention whenever she entered a room, and convincing other dragons to do what she wanted. She also absorbed the skill of how to stay present and grounded in the moment, which was (according to her mother) the true source of charisma.

Most of Calladora's youth, however, was spent with her father. He was a singer, a poet, and a huge gossip. He taught her everything she needed to know about reading, writing, and things of that nature. He also taught her a lot about poetry-- everything from respected sonnets to ancient epics to rude limericks. She became skilled at gathering rumors, tossing them about when the mood suited her, and making fun of everything and everyone (including herself).

Calladora knows how to see the funny side of every situation (which is a great trick for staying calm and/or entertained in any scenario), but to only show her amusement when it's diplomatically beneficial to do so. Another thing she knows is that it's important to always make time to enjoy yourself. She always says there's no point in living if you can't enjoy it.

When Calladora gets interested in a project, she thinks about it constantly and picks away at it until it's complete-- but always at her own leisure, and only for her own satisfaction.
