╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ "People take this s**t way too seriously." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ FR HISTORY Atlas Argyris was the usual Ridgeback you can find shuffling down the tunnels—borrow now, ask later. He can rarely stay in place, let alone stay in the same plan. Though he’s a lone wolf back when he was a small hatchling, he lived mostly through the items and treasures that he “borrowed” among the years. That was the same plan as he approached to a nearby Water clan, sneaking in and grabbing a few bags of treasure. Little did he now that the clan leader was a small slightly older Fae that easily caught the large dragon. The leader’s “brother”, as the old man put it, was more free spirited and lenient on their not-so-little child thief. With that being said, the clan leader reluctantly agreed and adopted the Ridgeback into the clan. From then on he was trained to be one of clan’s warriors and guards, under the somewhat watchful eye of the said brother, Ceallach. Now he is one of the top guards of the clan, along with his adopted sister, Nevaeh, and despite the high ranking title he still has his rough exterior, even “borrowing” some of his fellow clan member’s potions every once in a while. Though that roughness was matched when Avery got out of her hatchling days and were as big as any other Skydancer. They were both reckless, yet powerful. Whenever Ceallach trained the two of them in battle they were a force of nature, built from magic and carnage, a reason why they’re part of the Coliseum Team Ceallach has newly built. OC HISTORY Atlas’s beginning wasn’t a pleasant one. Unsure of why they did so, but Atlas’s parents abandoned him, and has given him up for adoption. The orphanage he was in was rough, but it wasn’t abusive. His caretakers weren’t very kind on his crazy antics or playful banters, but they still kept him around as they believe the young boy is just a diamond in the rough. It wasn’t long before Atlas was happily adopted to a pair of handsome men, both well off and kind to him, as well as Atlas’s new younger sister, also adopted from the same orphanage, Nevaeh. She was as wild as her new brother, though they didn’t get along that well at first. They rarely talked to each other back in the orphanage, let alone now as their now brother and sister. That is one lucky day in their grade school as their first days and already they were getting bullied for having two fathers. Luckily Atlas had a tough skin and handled the teasing easily, which is quite the opposite for Nevaeh. But as the diamond in the rough that he is, he called out to the bullies, even fighting them for insulting his sister, and thus the duo were inseparable and even became as close as actual siblings. As they grew older the insults simmered down, and they both lived a decent life. Then came a rather odd looking girl with short, messily cut red hair and tattered clothes up on their fathers’ porch. She didn’t say much, but she did beg for a place for her to sleep for the night. They compromised and took her in and had her help around the home as payment for staying in. The girl, Avery, slowly grew to become best friends with the duo, especially with Atlas. They became so close that, one day, Avery asked him for a rather sensitive subject—to be her first. Avery said it wouldn’t mean anything, but afterwards, it meant a lot to Atlas. Unfortunately, Avery had to break his heart, and with that Atlas became more inconsistent when it came to his girlfriends in his high school. It wasn’t long after high school that they started living their own lives – Avery in her own apartment, Atlas living in a room in Nevaeh’s auto shop, and with Nev living and taking care of her fathers. They still keep in touch, as they do meet up every other Thursday for a good cold glass of beer.  |
