ROYAL CHAINS

Gravel to tempo: Change of fate. Acceptance of oneself.

______ Born into a family of high status is probably not always an ideal lifestyle, everything in your life had already been decided way before you're even being born into this world. And that, Amaya was no exception. Her parents had always expected the best from her, they had bend and shaped her into an ideal daughter they had always dreamt of, just like many of her siblings before and after her. They would expected nothing less from their children. The young princess had always dreamed of a loving family, who would accepted her for who she wanted to be and love her unconditionally, and not for the ideal they had of her.

______ At a very young age, the Skydancer was raised as a sheltered princess and had always followed her parents' orders that she would have no other choice than to obey. Being forbiddened to go out and play with the other kids at her age, or what her parents had called 'commoners'. She hasn't had the best of childhood, she was always busied learning with her tutors how to be a 'proper young lady'. Meeting up with other royalties, she was mostly surrounded by arrogant and stuck up aristocrats for most of her life, even the kids weren't much better than their parents. But like her parents said 'we are of royal blood, and we should act like it'. All of her siblings are too busy to play with her, especially when all of them are old enough to have a life of their own and their own business to be taken care of.

______Growing up was even harder on Amaya, as she had discovered about the joy of freedom and the wills to control her own life. Constantly getting into troubles, her parents were even more disappointed than anything else. They would had her locked up until she learnt her lessons and start to act more like a princess that she is. Things got worst when she discovered about her engagement to someone she didn't acknowledge of his existence before for her entire life. Turns out her betrothal was a prince of a neighborhood powerful kingdom, called [Name]. To added fuel into the fire, on their first meeting, all he did was trying to bed her, if not he'd goes around and wooing as many females as possible. Furiously, she broke off the engagement. Much to her parents dismay, they had her locked up once more, to think about her actions. Defeated, she had escaped the castle that very night, to escaped her harsh and unfair life as a chained royalty, always being forced to shape in perfection, she doesn't want any of that, not anymore.

______Soon later, a group of nomadic thieves had found her and took her in, instead of trying to assaulted or harmed a beautiful young Amaya, they took her in and trained her into a skilled thief like themselves to help her survived each days. She was always a fast learner, and soon mastered the art of thievery, she repaid them by goes around and stealing goods for them, they were living a life of spoiled royalty, until they were put down by the law. Amaya were lucky to had escaped when they were ambushed by the guards, but she had lost her comrades that very day, and so she carried on a life of a loner. And so, her story began here.

BEAUTY TRAP

______ Beautiful, cunning and manipulative are three words to describe the Skydancer. Amaya had quickly took advantage of it and found a job at an infamous tavern. She dance and sing, and sometimes serving drinks to travelers and nobles across the realm as a cover while she runs around and stealing goods, overall her beauty was admired by many. Males desired her and females envied her, but... that's not always the case. But more then that, she later discovered the power of her well-endowed appearance. Goes around to seduced and robbed many rich nobles, aristocrats blind or literally anyone that had too many coins to spend on her, whether if it's a lusty male or unfortunate females that might have admired her beauty a little bit too much. She also likes to play damsel in distress at many unfortunate chivalrous bystanders whenever she got into trouble, so they could come to her rescue, only then to be bestowed the said trouble on themselves. She never stayed in one place for too long, reasons are to avoid many upset customers were being tricked by her and to keep her true identity as a secret.

______However, don't misunderstood her, Amaya doesn't allowed customers to bed her while she was working them, quite the contrary, keeping her first time for right one is very important to Amaya. She has her own way of handling said situlation, depending on how smitten her target is, it's just a simple hit and run. Until one day... karma came back to bite her, as she was cornered by a group of angry brutes who weren't buying her honeyed words and excuses. She had expected this to happen later or sooner because of her awareness at the life she was leading. The very less thing the Skydancer expected is the group of brutes were beaten up and ran away with their tails between their legs, and the cause of it, was a rather dashing Wildclaw.

______ Amaya found the older Wildclaw to be very fascinating, she introduced herself as Reagan. She was rather aloof but that just drawn Amaya to her even more, the Wildclaw doesn't speak much of herself, but that's enough to triggered her interests of Reagan. She began to tailed the Wildclaw, rather interested in why she had saved her (even when she's not playing damsel in distress to get anyone's attention). Reagan simply replied "Because those dragons needed to be put back in their places." As when they were about to part on their respective ways, she had begged to follow the Wildclaw as for she had no place left to go, then began to tell Reagan about her half true story of her own parents disowned her because of... well, reasons and everything else. Much to Reagan's dismay, she declined at first, but after saving Amaya from another run-in with a group of bandits, she decided to let the Skydancer follows her.

______At first, old habit died hard, Amaya had had ideas of stealing from an unexpected Reagan, mistaken her for some rotten rich bounty hunter. But a part of her halted her from doing so, and she was glad that she didn't scam the Wildclaw and takes flight because when she found out about Reagan's own story. Amaya then later offered Reagan a life time contract, to which she had told the Wildclaw about her job working in inns and taverns, and that she needed protection from grabby brutes, in return, she'd make sure Reagan is always at her finest state. Hesitated but the Wildclaw complied, Amaya couldn't stop the butterflies in her stomach. As certain unknown but pleasant feelings struck her numb. As time past by, they stick together and became an unlikely pair, her true identity and being a con artist still, she kept it all from Reagan, perhaps one day she'd tell her everything, but not now... Not especially after she discovered her romantic feelings for the older Wildclaw. She vowed to herself, one day she'd eventually get Reagan's affection, but holy Icewarden, is Reagan as thick as a Barkback boar's skin or what.

______ Constantly flirted and made her move on the Wildclaw every time she got her chance, she tried to be suggestive and seductive to Reagan too but all of her attempts were in vain because of Reagan's dull natural and obliviousness about those kind of things. Other than that her and Reagan also found joy in helping every poor unlucky souls they passed by on their journey. Amaya had always wanted to help out the poor every since she was young, but her previous status had prevented her from doing so, as every royalties thought every other being are not worthy of their time and just lowlife creatures. As for Amaya, she felt sympathy for them, and couldn't be more than eager to help them out with the Wildclaw, they're doing to their good deeds, to fix what were left behind in their past. And she couldn't wait to possibly start a new ~~family~~ life with Reagan. The only thing she absolutely hated about the Wildclaw is her terrible eating manners.
