Pyrite is a dedicated Shadow mage, devoted to learning everything there is about the secrets and magic of her Flight. She came to Sunbeam Ruins looking for more information, spending her days exploring the ruins of the Hewn City, and her nights over ancient tomes in the numerous libraries scattered through the Light territories. She practices her craft in her small lair on the outskirts of the clan, where her obscure and often dangerous experiments cannot hurt anyone. Easily, at least. She snickers at Light mages, convinced that spending your life reading about magic and not learning any practical skills is a waste of time. She enjoys bickering with them over it a lot more than she actually dislikes them, and is quick to burn through her moods.
