Little Lion Man - Mumford and Sons
Tremble for yourself, my man,
You know that you have seen this all before
Tremble, little lion man,
You'll never settle any of your scores
Your grace is wasted in your face,
Your boldness stands alone among the wreck
Now learn from your mother or else spend your days biting your own neck

Often seen as cold and tactical, Lorium isn't seen much within the actual clan. He dug out his own room above the clan entrance to have easy access to the air. Made of willow branches bent, seen in the style often known in the wind clan, it's often well lit due to his loving partner Lantern. She dubbed him the nickname 'Lottie' and is often seen talking and walking with him as he writes. He mostly studies the shade touched wildclaw who has dubbed this area to protect, and sends information back to his parents to help them further their knowledge on the shade.
He's actually quite shy and doesn't interact with others well. He's covered in runes under his feathers to protect him from shade infestation. Trinket has allowed him to stay as a part of the clan as long as he comes down every once and a while with his mate to enjoy a good bonfire and a feast every once and a while.
There are words on the wind that he is cursed by Kizerin. Following the wildclaw's death, both of Loriums partners fell severely ill.
LORE
He set out as a young hatchling to make his parents proud. They instilled in him the hate of the shade and his own shade resistance. Though not as strong as his mother, he instantly recognizes those who even have a hint of shade magic.
During his teen years, he grew rebellious, tampering in the darkarts to learn more about it. he heard of a wildclaw who had almost been completely consumed by the shade magic, and being young and rebellious he sought out to find him and learn. He met Kizerin in the dark of the plaguelands. He was less of a dragon and more of a manifestation of the pure shade.
He nearly killed Lorium with one swipe, sending the skydancer stumbling towards the clan. He returned the next night, and the night after that, determined to learn from Kizerin's shade eaten form and send the research back to his father. This continued for many weeks, waiting for Kizerin to show where he lived. It wasn't until Kizerin finally returned to his burrow did Lorium see what he was hiding from everyone else.
There nestled among salvaged candles and piles of books and potions was a hatchling. Small and weak but clearly happy to see Kizerin, the hatchling chirped, clutching a pearl to it's chest. Kizerin gently nuzzled against them, the shade cringing away from whatever magic the pearlcatcher held.
Lorium was shocked and confused, unable to undertand, he left for many nights to return home to seek guidance from his parents.
Once he returned, he stays away from Kizerin, though he often visits the hatchling, whom he learned to be named Annalize, to learn from her and her magic. His book carries everything that he's learned. He often sends letters to his parents to keep them updated.
