Gilda
| Positive | Happy | Intelligent

"Another brewer in the family. Just like her father." Those words were what the young Gilda was hatched to. Then, she didn't know that she had the skills of a brewer, distinguishable at birth. Nor did she know that she would brew many different types of teas, some even unknown to the kind of dragon. But what she did know was that her parents were speaking a lot of gibberish.

* * *

Gilda grew with the many seasons, until she became a fully-fledged Skydancer. At her age of a moon, she was allowed to watch brewers at work, perhaps lend a claw, but not to try to make anything. Her watcher always lectured her before going inside the brewery. However, since Gilda was always curious and tempted when someone told her not to do something, she decided to try brewing a raspberry tea. Gilda snuck in and collected berries, a pot and mug, some sugar, and some honey. Gilda stirred and crafted until her watcher came in and screeched in anger! The items were whisked away hastily, and a long rant was in store.

The elderly dragon was furious. He raged on at Gilda for the better part of an hour, then she interrupted, boldly daring him to taste her tea. He hesitantly obliged, and sipped some from the mug. Gilda laughed as his eyes widened and he sputtered. The old dragon was amazed, to say the least, at the not-bad taste. It was better than the brewery's! Gilda was praised highly for her work, and an apology was in tow, for the lecture. She accepted and wondered what would happen next.

* * *
Her watcher instantly informed the brewery of her talent, and not long after, Gilda was offered a job there. She happily took the job as head-brewer. After all, her talent was better than the old head-brewer's, and she was a mere child, too! Gilda's family took pride in this reason and rhyme, and the whole clutch went into celebration. Their lair was noisy for the entire night, dancing and roaring and making a racket. Gilda brewed refreshments for the party; tea, of course. ~
