She honestly regrets being a Daddy's girl now that she's older and wiser. It was really her dream to follow in her dad's pawsteps; becoming a great, talented alchemist. As soon as she was able to fly, she was searching for learning oppurtunites all over Sornieth, doing everything short of begging for a good place to begin her own chapter as an alchemist that would be just as good, if not better than her dad.

Mikage thought it was a gift from the Tidelord himself when she caught wind of an apprenticing job within her own home of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Within the day she sent in an application for the job where she was accepted within three more days. She had given her goodbyes to her parents and taken off for her new home not much longer after that, excited for her new life. What she didn't expect was that her mentor was an idiot coatl who did nothing but blow things up leaving her to pick up the pieces. Though she'd ever admit it, she loves Essence like a mother and is really grateful for giving her the oppurtunity to become her own dragon.

Mikage honestly doesn't get much freetime since whenever she's not helping Essence with experiments or cleaning up after said experiments, she's sleeping. Long working hours really leave her pooped by the end of it. Most say she's way to tolerant of her job and sometimes Mikage has to agree, but the job has grown on her. On those rare occassions she's not passed out in her nest, she'll spend some time with friends (for about an hour or two since she's got only six hours before her day starts again).
