Pyxis packed light at the outset: a small pouch for her belongings, a scarf to shield her from the biting currents of the Windswept Plateau, and her Barbtail, a stalwart sentry and companion through the lonely nights. A journey across the continent would be no small feat—when she'd learned of her wayward sister's roost in the Arcanist's domain, she could scarcely believe it herself. “I'll find her...she needn't be lonely anymore.” Having reunited with Bellatrix and joining her clan, Pyxis wonders, at times, if something else called her to the Starfall Isles—if she was somehow drawn by the warped magnetism of its glimmering peaks. If she was more of a “dreamer” than a “thinker”, in the end. Some of her former clan's elders might attest to that. “A fool's errand,” they called it. “You'd sooner drag the Shadowbinder to the Ruins than you'd see Bellatrix return. You can't hope to match your sister's stubbornness.” How little they knew. With a will to match her idealism, Pyxis is relentless in her efforts to see Bellatrix and their parents reconcile. That's not to say that she's in a hurry to return to the Sunbeam Ruins—with the Sanctuary, she's found a sort of home. She made fast friends with clanmates like Magnus, and earned the respect of others with her unwavering work ethic.
