Eastern exorcist. Hui means a brilliant shine.

Hui is a typical maverick, associating with others only when he deems it necessary. Due to his particular line of work, his habitual silence has not led others to avert his presence. On the contrary, he is often warmly welcomed and even coddled, especially by older dragons whom cannot help but see him as a younger brother or a son. His kind nature beneath the apathetic facade only worsens this phenomenon.

Hui is, in fact, the younger brother of Xing. The two work together in their exorcist endeavors. Since Hui has been a magnet by birth for all sorts of troubles, not limited to the supernatural category, he truly appreciates Xing's companionship despite his reclusive lifestyle. Though much to the dismay of Hui, his sister is the polar opposite of him when it comes to personal space and quiet time standards.




For the lazy-sun mornings and the dusky crimson sunset, you await. The sporadic screams from the exorcized beings and the dead calls of the corvids. Sink into the light, the mosaics of the cathedral are ruptured and lay broken on the floor. She can't stand still, shaking silently. Words spewing, nothing to be understood. The divine silence and the grasping hands, the scent of wine and coal, the cool stone slabs grip onto your toes. Her gaze at the dawn, smiling brightly, warm and happy.
