Syafyus is the oldest of the litter. Because of this, Damian, his father, expects much of him. He expects his eldest son to carry on his bloody legacy, but in secret, Syafyus wants nothing to do with battle and war. He enjoys reading books and writing during his little, if any, free time.
His mother pretends that he and his little brother don't exist- she considers them one of her regretful choices. This struck Syafyus's younger brother deeply. Syafyus attempted to be a loving guardian that his younger brother never had, but his decision was looked down in scorn by his father, and Damian later punished him.
After that, Syafyus never dared to show a shred of mercy towards his little brother in front of their parents. He tries to tend to his brother out of the sight of Damian, but with his constant training, that seems impossible. Syafyus is tortured by the cries of his younger brother late at night, and even books cannot comfort him.
Syafyus is afraid that he will eventually go down the same path as his father. He is currently still training.
