Hailing from the Tsunami Flats Keshi has always had a love of water. She spent much of her time along the seashore, occasionally jumping in for a swim. During one of said trips she found a pearl which she identified as having belonged to a Pearlcatcher. She used her sharp Tundra nose to attempt to find the owner of the pearl but to no avail.

After becoming a Pearlcatcher herself (through a series of very complicated but safe procedures she will assure you) she took on this pearl as her own. Being able to look into some of the former owner's memories she found that they had been a craftsman, weaving the fishing nets for the local fishers. Keshi had no desire to follow in their footsteps but these memories provided her with a second hand love of handiwork.

Moving on from the Tsunami Flats she picked up bits and pieces of knowledge from friendly clans that she encountered. In one such clan she was taught how to weave which she realised she truly enjoyed. She has dedicated herself to the art since, starting small but having managed to work her way up to larger and larger projects. Her most recent project was a large decorative tapestry depicting the landscape of the Hewn City.

She currently resides in the Wikia clan where she decided to settle and learn more about using plant fibers in her textiles. She has had great success thus far, also succeeding in making a wider range of dyes. She met Linum when he arrived a few months after her and struck up a partnership with him. Together they sell their wares at a small stall, happily keeping each other company and providing for their customers.
